SILKSCREEN DEPARTMENT

Our Silkscreen Department handles printing on uniforms for just about every sport as well a wide variety of fan gear apparel. While we are continually growing to cover every sport, we strive to keep 100% of what we do in-house. We are always looking for people who can bring a high level of expertise in this very demanding department.

Manual/Automatic Silk Screen Press Operator

 

The Soccer Factory is looking for workers in our Silk Screen Press department who possess extreme attention to detail when performing any duties involving the screen-printing process. Will be responsible for operating and maintaining both manual and automatic printers and associated machinery to produce an excellent quality product in a safe and efficient manner. One to two years’ experience in the silk screening industry is preferred.

As a Silk Screen Press Operator you will:

  • Read documentation to understand customer specifications, including ensuring use of correct screen for a given job.
  • Prepare, operate and maintain automatic and manual silk screen printing presses and dryer
  • Participate in cleaning and maintaining the facilities and equipment

Qualifications:

  • Good detail and decision-making skills to setup equipment, check product quality and make adjustments to meet customer deadlines and requirements
  • Give input to warehouse supervisor on status of warehouse workers on any performance issues, including productivity, attendance, safety, or quality as noted.
  • Closely uphold and help monitor the compliance with all safety policies and operation of warehouse equipment.
  • Adhere to quality process and measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Review required paperwork and data entry by warehouse team, as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor
  • Fulfill customer orders as needed, including material handling, making sure accuracy standard is set high.
  • Help coordinate routine maintenance on all material handling equipment when/if asked
  • Must be safety oriented and ensure the security of all staff members and equipment
  • Must be reliable through good attendance, punctuality and cooperation
  • Ability to walk, stand or bend for 10-12 hours
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines through good time management skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and a willingness to accept and act on feedback

Inventory Manager

We currently service thousands of high schools, colleges/universities, clubs and municipalities nationwide. Shortly, our operations will expand internationally. Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the inventory management activities;
  • Monitor inventory levels and inventory movement using manual or computerized inventory systems;
  • Review compiled inventory reports (quantity, type and value of materials, and equipment and stock on hand);
  • Conduct audits and ensure accuracy of inventory records, including Receiving, and Shipping activities;
  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, recommend and implement solutions;
  • Confer with other department management and staff to coordinate inventory management activities;
  • Develop and implement profit improvement plans and change management plans;
  • Conduct cycle count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution;
  • Conduct investigations into inventory management incidents to verify and resolve complaints;
  • Perform day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining files and processing paperwork;
  • Remain current with the latest inventory management and material handling tools, technology and procedures;
  • Maintain open dialogue with other management to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
  • Interview, select, coach, train, manage, and appraise the performance of inventory management personnel;
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships and maintain them over time;

Requirements and Knowledge

  • Previous management and inventory control experience in a distribution warehouse environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods;
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports;
  • An analytical mind with strong math skills;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Effective communicator and leader of employees, direct reports, and executive leadership;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge/experience
