adidas designers used data-mapping to better understand where the foot connects with the ball. The result is a series of precisely-placed SENSEPODS, designed to eliminate negative space around the ankle and achilles. Foam elements are anatomically placed within the inside of the heel, filling the space to create a seamless connection between cleat and foot.
New TOUCHPODS are placed on both the medial and lateral sides of the boot, absorbing impact energy off the ball at the points of the boot where connection with the ball most often occurs.
The laceless k-leather upper features FUSIONSKIN, a material that molds to the shape of your foot, while reducing water absorption and improving flexibility.
The re-engineered collar shape of the Copa Sense is slightly rotated to better follow the shape of the ankle, providing an optimal fit.
The new anatomically shaped Copa Sense outsole also features SOFTSTUDS - two medial forefoot studs that are injected with a softer material, so they bend upon impact with the ball, ensuring the sweetest touch possible.
